Solar hot water systems can also be used for supplemental or back up heating 4 month out of the year. With the use of Exquisite Heat control the return water to a hydronic boiler is minimized.

A cross injection system with heat exchanger from a solar hydronic system can inject preheated water into the boiler return to make the energy requirement for heating greatly reduced.

Exquisite heat will set the proper temperature requirements for the system based on thermostat circulation requirements. The boiler may not need to run 4 months a year during the milder months.

An added storage system for the solar energy together with an extra solar panel on the roof should provide the BTU's for the heating.
