My Family Of Five Water Saving Tips And Ideas

Being the mom of three small children I think that it is very important to teach my children the art of saving water. Our family is very green and feels that it is important to help our planet as much as we can.

Since water is our most precious resource, saving water at home is the most logical place for anyone to start. As a family we do the following in order to save water. We never allow water to run while we brush our teeth, even my small children.

This may seem like a small thing but when you have a family of five it adds up over time. We also use dishwashing water to water small outdoor plants and shrubs.

My boys (they are very young) still take a bath together and often if I take a bath with my daughter. We do all that we can to reduce the amount of water we use on a daily basis. Saving water is easy, once you place an importance on it.
