Before dishing out home energy saving tips I think that most of us agree that becoming more energy efficient at home is great, but at what expense?
If you're living or building a 2,000 sq. foot home, you don't want to scale down the cost of a heating unit just because you want to save money and purchase one that only heats up 1,000 sq. feet.
Unfortunately this mistake is too often made, making saving energy at home in the future nearly impossible.
Imagine the cold weather that winter brings. If you don't purchase a quality heating system and thermostat to control it correctly, you will wound up spending even more money because you will over-work your existing unit.
In our opinion the best energy saving tip at home would be to get the right heating unit and thermostat straight away, or evaluate and upgrade if necessary and you will save yourself many headaches down the line.
