Remodeling a home - is a given not an option so why not be smart and remodel with savings AND environmental sustainable in mind?
I read an article that was contributed on this site on titled; "it's the economy, stupid" and a comment back that read; “look out the window it's the environment”. Hey ya’ll, it's really both.
Some things really aren't green (it's just the food coloring) and some things aren't really saving energy. Why waste when you can save? Why add to the mess when you can clean up?
Just think, without the proper conservation of what’s old, there would be no public parks for anyone. Why financially support the cleaning industry, and the products that they offer, when it's cheaper and more environmentally sound to use vinegar instead of disinfectant?
Why utilize a ridge vent for a roof (which is marketable but doesn't work) while few have heard about solar gable fans?
